Inspiration

As students, we realized the importance of understanding personal finance and how it can impact our lives. However, we found that personal finance is not taught enough in schools, which is also a common issue among many adults. To address this problem, we decided to create an engaging and interactive story-based game that covers various personal finance topics. By integrating Kahoot and Google forms, we can keep track of leaders and award prizes to incentivize learning and motivate students to improve their financial literacy. Our goal is to empower students with essential financial knowledge and skills to help them make informed decisions in the future.

Project Objective

LEarnBU aims to provide an immersive learning experience through a captivating story-based game. The learning tool comprises a collection of modules, each carefully crafted to assist students in comprehending the fundamental concepts of personal finance, including saving, spending, budgeting, investing, and more. Each module includes a storyline that is complemented by video and reading materials, which thoroughly cover essential concepts, and quizzes that help consolidate knowledge and prepare students for the final riddle. LEarnBU is designed to be seamlessly incorporated into classroom curricula, delivering interactive and engaging lessons that empower students to develop crucial financial literacy skills.
